FAQs

I purchased a piece through the publisher or JWPepper and I would like to receive it sooner, can you send me PDFs if I show proof of purchase?

Unfortunately, no. Any outside distributer only sells hard copies of my music. Some pieces are sold directly through me as PDF, but not all pieces have PDF options. If you will want a PDF version of a piece- this needs to be purchased directly through me (if PDF is an option for that piece). It is best to contact me directly about this before making any purchases.

How do I get permission to arrange a piece for a marching band show?

Contact LeAndre directly at leandrehbenton@gmail.com for more information.

How can we set up a virtual session with you?

I find that Q & A sessions work best in this scenario and rehearsals work best when in person. However, you may contact LeAndre directly about setting this up with your group.

Can I photocopy your scores?

Scores cannot be copied or digitized. If a conductor would like an additional score, an additional score must be purchased.

I am hosting an honor band and am using your music. How can I share it with the students?

If you are using a piece for an honor band, please contact LeAndre directly for purchasing options (PDF parts are only available directly through him).

What is your typical timeline for completing a commissioned piece?

The timeline can vary based on the complexity of the work and your deadline. Generally, I aim to complete pieces within 4 weeks or so, but we can discuss specific timelines during our collaboration.

Do you offer workshops or clinics?

Yes, I offer workshops and clinics for bands interested in enhancing their performance skills or performing any of my works. Please reach out for more details.

How do you determine the pricing for commissioned works?

Pricing depends on the complexity of the composition, length, timeline, and any special requirements. I can provide a quote once I have more information about your project.
